I'm coming back to the older post of mine, for which i need your comments/suggestions. Let's just say that you are attending an interview. It all goes smoothly, you establish friendly relationships and mutual understanding, answering to all of their question, but in the end they find some criteria which are not matching with the company policy (ex: your experience does not coincide with the position requested; your asking too much $; your too old/young/unexperienced; etc). So... The outcome - cordial farewell, "will contact you if we find a suitable position in our company, bla bla..."

Ok. So far so good. But, lets say that after a year (or more), you receive an open invitation (through a recruiter, not directly from the company!!) to join the same company. Believe me it's tempting. What will you do? Will you attend the interview?
